Jot 6 is September 12th

Mark your calendars and RSVP because space is going to be limited!

2015_jot_6_posterFor the first time since its inception, the Jot Writers Conference is moving, and not just across town. This fall, the sixth semi-annual free, one-night writers conference is coming to Three Rivers, MI on Saturday, September 12th, 2015. We are proud to announce that our partnership with Lowry’s Books & More, a mecca for book lovers with over 173,000 used and rare books.

The event begins an hour earlier than in the past, starting at 6pm and going to 10pm. In spite of the new time and location, in many ways, Jot 6 will be a throwback to the first ever Jot event.¬†Our speakers will consist primarily of the members of our writers group. And we don’t know who or how many people are going to show up.

As always, the Jot Writers Conference will be free to attend. The evening will be filled with short presentations on some aspect of writing and will run the gamut from prose to poetry, non-fiction to fantasy. Built into the schedule will be time to meet with other writers, time to learn some new things, and time to get some writing done. And of course, being surrounded by so many excellent books, there will also be time to shop.

I hope to see you at Jot 6!

Stay tuned to the Jot website for the latest news and presentation announcements

  1. I just went over to the Jot page to RSVP. Do I need to put my name in anywhere? I couldn’t tell if I was RSVPing for this event or a previous one. We will be there! (But Eric will just be hunting down books and wandering the aisles.)
